ROCHESTER, Mich. (WANE) – After a disappointing overtime loss on Monday, Purdue Fort Wayne responded with an 84-64 win at Oakland on Friday.
Alana Nelson continued her breakthrough season with the Mastodons, scoring a team-high 24 points while adding five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block. Lili Krasovec also reached double figures with 15 points. 10 Purdue Fort Wayne players went into the scoring column in Friday’s win.
The Mastodons wasted no time creating separation at Oakland. Purdue Fort Wayne opened the game on a 7-0 run, including 21-3 extended run that lasted nearly eight minutes into the first quarter.
