Fort Wayne ranks 9th in U.S. for historic homes on the market

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Fort Wayne is among the top 10 cities in the U.S. for historic homes currently on the market. A recent study by ProGuard, a residential protection plan company, analyzed Zillow listings and found that 39.3% of homes listed in Fort Wayne were built before 1925.

Indianapolis also made the list, ranking 23rd with 17.6% of its homes dating back more than a century.

The study used Zillow’s search filters to identify homes constructed before 1925 and compared these to the total listings in each city. Baltimore led the ranking with 61.4%, followed by St. Louis and Cleveland…
