FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — One of two men connected to a Christmas Day shooting from 2024 has been found guilty.
48-year-old Shawn Williams was found guilty of murder Thursday after the jury’s 30-minute-long deliberation.
Williams was involved in the shooting and killing of 39-year-old Philip Rhinehart on Christmas Day of that year. Another man, Chad Kinney, is alleged to have been Williams’ accomplice and is also charged with murder.
At around 6 p.m. that night, police received reports of the shooting, and at around 6:30 p.m., Rhinehart was found dead with a gunshot wound in the area of Wells and Fourth streets…
