ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — For drivers, winter already brings many road hazards in the form of ice or snow.
However, for commuters who rely on U.S. 27 to get to and from Fort Wayne, another nuisance has recently littered a small stretch of the highway: mud.
Near the intersection of U.S. 27 and Hoagland Road, streaks of mud covered the road, leading to some people reaching out to WANE 15 about the issue.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), no complaints have come the department’s way, but a highway maintenance team did respond to the area to clean debris from the roadway.
