City of Fort Wayne invites neighborhood leaders to attend workshops for improvement grant program

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The City of Fort Wayne is inviting neighborhood leaders to attend workshops for its neighborhood improvement grant program.

The workshops will be held:

  • Tuesday, January 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Allen County Public Library Dupont branch,
  • Saturday, January 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Allen County Public Library Hessen Cassel branch,
  • Saturday, January 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Allen County Public Library Main location, and
  • Thursday, January 22, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Allen County Public Library Georgetown branch.

City officials say the workshops will provide neighborhood leaders with opportunities to learn about the grant application process.

It is the eighth year the city has offered neighborhood improvement grants. Officials say the grants are designed to ‘improve and energize Fort Wayne neighborhoods by supporting projects that improve the quality of life for residents’…
