First Alert Forecast: Calm start to week. Tracking several rain, snow chances.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Monday will offer a temporary break from the active pattern. Morning temperatures will be in the mid 20s, but thanks to a bit of a breeze, it will feel like the 10s. So, bundle up on Monday morning as you head out. During the afternoon, though, a bit of sunshine is likely with highs in the upper 30s.

Don’t get too comfortable though, the pattern is about to turn unsettled again.

Rain Arrives Tuesday, Transitions to Snow

The next system moves in Tuesday afternoon and evening, starting as rain with highs reaching the mid 40s. As a cold front sweeps through Tuesday night, temperatures will fall from about 2am on Wednesday down into the mid 20s by the late afternoon on Wednesday.
