STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — A multi-agency police pursuit that began in Fremont ended with the arrest of a 19-year-old Indianapolis man Sunday night after the vehicle he was driving was stopped in DeKalb County.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2026, to assist the Fremont Town Marshal’s Office with a fleeing vehicle traveling westbound on State Road 120 near the Fremont town limits.
The vehicle, described as a blue passenger car, continued to flee and entered Interstate 69 southbound near the 354-mile marker. As the pursuit continued, additional law enforcement agencies, including the Angola Police Department and the Indiana State Police, joined the effort…
