FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) WBCL celebrated a milestone on Monday. The Christian radio station has now been on the air for 50 years.
WBCL first signed on the air in 1976 under the ownership of Fort Wayne Bible College. At the time, the station operated 18 hours a day with just two full-time employees. Over the years, WBCL has grown into a thriving ministry of more than 25 staff members, now broadcasting 24 hours a day to thousands of listeners across the region.
