Indiana DNR plans public meetings to discuss spongy moth treatments in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WPTA) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hosting virtual meetings at the end of January to discuss spongy moth treatments in Huntington.

The department says the spongy moth is an invasive insect that can strip leaves and kill trees. The DNR is proposing treatment in two areas in Huntington to help manage the spongy moth population:
