Fans of intimate performances by singer-songwriters were heartbroken when the The B-Side at One Lucky Guitar hosted its final show in February 2024.
Starting in 2009, the space at 1301 Lafayette St. played host to more than 100 performances, including national acts like Ike Reilly, David Wax Museum, Lloyd Cole, Mark Eitzel, and Steven Forbert, as well as local musicians such as Kevin Hambrick, The Legendary Trainhoppers, Kenny Taylor, and Rosalind & The Way.
Despite no longer hosting regular shows at his venue, Matt Kelley did bring a pair to Wunderkammer Company, with the latest being Emma Swift on Aug. 1. Following that show, longtime B-Side patron Mark Meyer had an idea.
