FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Bri The Change Organization held an educational seminar on violence against women, which included testimonies from survivors, healing activities, a self-defense demonstration, and a resource fair to connect survivors to support services.
On Sunday afternoon, Bri The Change Organization hosted its third annual “Stop the Silence: Surrounding Women’s Violence Awareness” event at the Allen County Main Public Library.
The seminar was described as an “immersive, trauma-informed experience” to bring awareness to and break the stigma of all forms of domestic abuse and violence against women.
