‘It’s not only about gambling’: Electronic pull tabs coming to qualified nonprofits

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Electronic pull tabs are legal for qualified nonprofit organizations across Indiana, opening a new fundraising avenue for veterans and fraternal groups in Fort Wayne and beyond.

The change follows the passage of Senate Enrolled Act 209, which took effect July 1, 2025. The law allows electronic pull tab gaming at eligible nonprofits, including American Legion posts and other fraternal organizations, provided all machines are approved by the Indiana Gaming Commission. The first approved devices, including machines produced by Arrow International, began rolling out statewide in late 2025.
