World Wetlands Day celebrations to be held throughout northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – World Wetlands Day is February 2.

Organizations across northeast Indiana are coming together to celebrate.

The Little River Wetlands Project (LRWP) has compiled a list of what celebrations are being held, as well as where and when community members can join:

  • What: Guided winter birding hike

  • WWD Family Art WorkshopACRES Land Trust
  • What: Wetland art for ages 6–11, as well as a short hike
