Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Over $100K In Cash

NORTH WEBSTER – A Huntington woman was arrested for allegedly stealing over $100,000 in cash and a firearm from a North Webster residence.

Taysha Lynn Crittendon, 29, 7235 N. SR 13, Huntington, is charged with theft of property where the value is over $50,000 and theft of a firearm, both level 5 felonies.

On June 12, 2025, a woman spoke with a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office detective about a theft report. The woman said she was admitted to the hospital on June 6 and released on June 11.

According to court documents, when the woman returned home in North Webster, Crittendon informed her the house was broken into over the weekend. Crittendon also claimed that Rastis Gibson had been at the home while the woman was in the hospital…
