COLUMBIA CITY – Northeastern REMC has announced that two employees, Aaron Wilcoxson and Trevor Fries, have graduated from Indiana Electric Cooperatives’ Rural Electric Apprenticeship Program and are now journeyman line workers.
REAP is a comprehensive, four-year program that provides professional training for apprentice line workers from electric cooperatives across Indiana. Graduates complete 612 hours of classroom-related instruction and more than 8,000 hours of on-the-job training at their home cooperative.
