Jurors return verdict for Fort Wayne men accused in life-threatening 2023 shooting of a minor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A jury found two Fort Wayne men guilty this week of shooting a young boy at a Fourth of July block party in 2023.

Tyron Hill, 25, and 27-year-old Quayawn Eldridge were found guilty of attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness and a sentencing enhancement for using a gun in the incident.

The men are scheduled to be sentenced by Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull in March, when they could be sentenced to up to 82 years…
