Fort Wayne’s Philharmonic Gains Permanent Space for Events

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) The Fort Wayne Philharmonic is opening a new downtown performance space at 826 Ewing Street, near the former University of St. Francis Performing Arts Center and the Scottish Rite building. The city approved a three-way liquor license for the venue, which the Philharmonic estimates will account for roughly 14% of alcohol sales revenue and about 2% of its total annual income.

The venue provides a permanent home for concerts, rehearsals, and community events such as book clubs, while giving the Philharmonic increased flexibility for smaller performances and administrative activities.
