FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A crash in the southbound lanes of I-69 has caused a significant traffic backup on Saturday morning, and was followed by several other crashes.
According to a press release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, at 6:42 a.m., FWPD was dispatched to I-69 south near mile-marker 302 for a crash.
On scene, officers were met with a crash involving multiple vehicles, with one car containing a man and a woman who were pinned inside. The Fort Wayne Fire Department was able to extract the two, at which point they were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries…
