Boil order lifted in New Haven after water main break repair

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WFFT) — The boil order advisory in New Haven has been lifted following a water main break along State Road 930 on Thursday night. The break caused a loss of water pressure across most of the city.

The Board of Health conducted two water tests, both of which returned favorable results, allowing the advisory to be lifted. City officials believe the break may have been caused by prolonged frigid temperatures or aging infrastructure.
