FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A fire broke out in a home in southeast Fort Wayne, and has been extinguished.
At around 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, it was reported that a home in the 4300 block of Reed Street was on fire. The home is located near the McKinney Avenue and South Anthony Boulevard intersection.
When crews from the Fort Wayne Fire Department arrived at the home, there was no visible fire. Upon further investigation, crews found a small fire in an upstairs bedroom, which caused smoke damage to the room. A space heater that was left unattended had caused the fire…
