Local officials discuss Midwest Connect progress

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Local officials say they remain optimistic about the future of the Midwest Connect rail project.

The project would connect Fort Wayne to Chicago, Columbus, and Pittsburgh via passenger rail. It would mark the return of passenger rail to Fort Wayne after the last passenger train left Baker Street Train Station in 1990.
