FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – No. 6 Norwell knocked off no. 2 Homestead in an instant classic at Don Reichert Gymnasium to headline Saturday’s slate of sectional championships across northeast Indiana.
Vanessa Rosswurm spearheaded a 12-point comeback for the Knights, scoring a game-high 28 points to lead Norwell to their first 4A sectional title in program history.
Elsewhere in northeast Indiana, Snider, Fairfield, East Noble, Bellmont, Eastside, Whitko and Fremont each won sectional titles to advance to next Saturday’s regional round.
