ALBION, Ind. (WFFT) — The Noble County Sheriff’s Department has called on the Indiana State Police to investigate an inmate’s death at the Noble County Jail.
Early on Saturday, detectives from the Indiana State Police Investigations Bureau were brought in after an inmate experienced a medical emergency shortly after being received into the jail. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts by jail staff and Parkview EMS, the inmate did not survive.
Authorities do not suspect foul play at this time. The Noble County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy to confirm the deceased’s identity…
