FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A heavily-traveled stretch of road west of downtown Fort Wayne was backed up for a few hours Friday morning due to a crash.
Around 9 a.m., there was a collision near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Catalpa Street. Eastbound Jefferson was shut down from Catalpa to Freeman Street, dispatch confirmed. That’s a small stretch passing by Rockhill Park.
Before 10 a.m., Fort Wayne police were able to start directing traffic through the intersection.
