HARBOR BEACH, Mich. (WJRT) – The body of a missing Harbor Beach woman found dead over the weekend was located four hours away from where she was last seen alive.
Authorities confirmed Monday that the body of 36-year-old Shana Umbreit was located in DeKalb County, Ind., near the city of Auburn. A passerby discovered Umbreit’s body in a swampy area.
Harbor Beach Police confirmed over the weekend that Umbreit’s body had been found, but they did not say where. Investigators have not provided information on how Umbreit died or how her body ended up in northern Indiana…
