ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Fire crews are responding to a building on fire in rural Allen County.
At around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, firefighters with the Northwest Fire District began responding to reports of a building on fire in the 10000 block of Valentine Road in northwest Allen County.
Smoke could be seen drifting in the sky from nearby traffic cameras.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire coming from the roofline of the home, and due to building construction and wind, the fire spread to all three levels. Firefighters searched the home and confirmed it was vacant.
