Bluffton farmer expresses concern about solar panels ahead of Wells County Commissioners meeting

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WPTA) – At the Wells County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, commissioners voted on an amendment to the proposals for solar farms being built in Wells County.

Megan Dunham is a fifth-generation farmer who said she’s worried solar farms might contaminate her soil and produce enough heat to ruin her crops.

She said she’s not necessarily opposed to them, but she’d like to see them built in a location that doesn’t threaten her livelihood…
