FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A warrant was issued on Wednesday for a 65-year-old Fort Wayne man charged with six counts of child molesting.
Along with the six charges, Maurice Lyons is facing an additional charge of dissemination of matter harmful to minors. Combined, the charges carry a potential sentence of up to more than 180 years in prison.
In December 2024, the victim told her mother and school counselor about the alleged abuse, prompting a report to police, according to court records obtained by 21Investigates.
