FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Community Transportation Network (CTN) has the funding and buses to expand its service, but a shortage of drivers is keeping thousands of potential rides on hold.
A $100,000 multi-year grant from the Kathy Fitzgerald Trust will allow CTN to launch a new six-day route, adding roughly two routes each day.
That expansion could provide more than 2,000 additional rides annually for seniors, people with disabilities, and residents who rely on the network to get to work, medical appointments, and essential errands…
