Beasley, Music named 2026 Red Coat recipients

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – DaMarcus Beasley and Mark Music will be adding to their wardrobe on August 2, as the two have been named the Mad Anthonys Red Coat recipients for 2026.

The Red Coat has a long history in Fort Wayne, honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to northeast Indiana and beyond. Since 1958 the Mad Anthonys organization has presented luminaries like Bob Knight, John Wooden, and Lou Holtz with the honor.

A Fort Wayne native, Beasley played 126 international matches for the U.S. Men’s National Team. A former South Side High School standout, he was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2023. The only U.S. male player to appear in four World Cups, Beasley is also a co-owner of Fort Wayne FC as well as the club’s Director of Football Operations…
