FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – S.B. 285, a ‘public camping’ ban targeting homelessness in Indiana, was sent to Governor Mike Braun’s desk on Thursday after Senate lawmakers passed the legislation in a 28-22 vote.
Pending the governor’s decision on whether or not to sign the bill into law, city officials say they are reviewing the legislation to ‘determine how it can and will be utilized in Fort Wayne’.
