Man sentenced to 62 years in prison for felony murder, robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A man was given his sentence after being found guilty of felony murder and robbery.

28-year-old Dana Minies Jr. was sentenced to 62 years in prison following his guilty verdict of felony murder and robbery. He was also charged with murder, but was found not guilty of that charge.

These charges originated from a 2024 fatal shooting that killed 27-year-old Travon Depree Holman near the 1100 block of W. 4th Street. Holman was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
