Fort Wayne’s Alive Outreach launches peace education initiative

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) – Alive Community Outreach launched a new community education initiative to help Fort Wayne build a stronger culture of peace.

Leaders said the new trainings will give businesses, schools and community groups practical skills for understanding conflict, de-escalation and trauma awareness.

The program follows Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s principles of nonviolence and aims to equip the whole community, not just young people, with tools for healthier relationships.
