Five Ohio counties receiving grants to support workforce housing

OHIO — Five Ohio counties will be receiving a little more than $9 million to support workforce housing, thanks to the Residential Economic Development District (REDD) program, which was signed into law by Gov. Mike DeWine last year.

Any local government near a major economic development project can apply for funds to enhance infrastructure, boost safety and services, or support new housing. Those who qualify can apply with a housing developer, port authority, government body or other local government.
