Indianapolis, Indiana – St. Patrick’s Day week across Indiana could bring a late return of winter as colder air pushing south from Canada raises the potential for accumulating snow just days before the official start of spring.

According to the NOAA Climate Prediction Center’s 8–14 day outlook, the period from March 15 through March 21 favors above-normal precipitation across parts of the Midwest, Great Lakes, and the eastern United States, while temperatures trend below seasonal averages across much of the region.
