FORT WAYNE – The Indiana State Police Fort Wayne Post is currently responding to multiple crash scenes throughout the district caused by extremely high winds moving through the area.
Several semi tractor‑trailers have been blown over at various locations, resulting in slowed or restricted traffic in those affected zones. At this time there are traffic slowdowns at I-69 south of Fort Wayne in Huntington County, near the 289 Mile Marker just north of Markle; on US 30 in Allen County near the Ohio state line; and on US 33 in Noble County, south of US 6.
