COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel announced Thursday, March 12 he will not seek reelection in 2027, bringing an end to what will be 16 years leading his hometown.
Daniel revealed the decision during his annual State of the City address, telling community leaders and residents that the time has come for new leadership after more than a decade in office.
