GARRETT, Ind. (WANE) A Garrett man drove his SUV off the road and into some trees early Wednesday evening and police believe he may have been drinking.
The crash took place in the 1700 block of CR 54 at around 6:44 p.m. according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.
Police determined that Nathan Kahl, 33, was driving west when for unknown reasons he lost control of his SUV and drove into some trees before coming to a stop.
He was treated at the scene for his injuries before being taken to a hospital. Deputies observed signs of impairment and began an OWI investigation…
