‘Right justice at the right time’: Murder charge dismissed without prejudice for man linked to Fort Wayne woman’s death

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A murder charge has been dismissed for a man linked to the death of a woman at a Fort Wayne apartment. But the case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning it could be refiled in the future.

Antres Holliness-Ransom, 28, had been charged with murder this past October in the death of Jasmine Marie-Haywood, also 28. When the Allen County Coroner’s Office identified the woman, they noted the cause and manner of her death were “pending further investigation.”

Holliness-Ransom was charged “after a diligent investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department,” the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday, adding, “After those charges were filed, information continued to develop that requires additional time to be fully investigated.”…
