First Alert Forecast: From 70 to 30 in less than 24 hours.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Calm conditions are expected through the rest of Saturday evening and into Sunday morning as the temperature gradually falls through the 60s into the mid 50s by Sunday morning.

A lot of the day on Sunday will be dry and we’ll get to enjoy temperatures peaking in the upper 60s and low 70s. However, our next weather system arrives in the late evening, bringing some scattered rain showers and an isolated thunderstorm. Severe weather is not expected.

Back behind that system, cold air will race in, and by the time Monday morning arrives, temperatures will be down in the low 30s. A 35-40 degree temperature swing in just about 18 hours…
