Second person arrested in shooting investigation after ER walk-in

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A woman was arrested for her role in a shooting after the victim walked into an E.R. with gunshot wounds earlier this month.

Wednesday, 26-year-old Kejuanna Boyd was arrested and charged with Assisting a Criminal, a Level 6 felony. This comes a week after her boyfriend, 19-year-old Kyzier Powell, was taken into custody and charged with Battery while using a deadly weapon and Criminal Recklessness while shooting into an inhabited dwelling.

On Tuesday, March 17, a man walked into a hospital on Fort Wayne’s southeast side suffering from gunshot wounds. He pointed to Powell as the man who shot him, and told police that Boyd helped him get away…
