Tornado touches down in Indiana, according to National Weather Service

INDIANA — A preliminary storm survey by the National Weather Service has confirmed at least one tornado in Huntington County following severe thunderstorms that moved through northern Indiana Thursday night.

According to the National Weather Service office in Northern Indiana, meteorologists conducted a damage survey Friday covering areas from near La Fontaine to southeast of Banquo in Wabash and Huntington counties.
