FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – It was an intense few moments for those in the path of severe storms in Wabash and Huntington counties on Thursday evening.
Raejean Wallace lives along State Road 218, near La Fontaine. She and her husband were home as a ferocious wind raced along. She said she barely had time to react as her and her husband were sat watching TV.
“The wind came. It sounded like hail and we had no notice,” Wallace said. The wind picks up and he {her husband} gets up and says CLOSET CLOSET!”…
