50+ applicants later, CTN still in need of drivers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A bus driver shortage is affecting Community Transportation Network’s ability to get seniors and people with disabilities to important appointments.

WANE 15 first shared that CTN needed staffing last month when the company received a $100,000 donation from the Kathy Fitzgerald Trust, which launched a six-day route with two additional stops. This prompted Clupper to set the goal of 27,000 CTN rides in 2026.

To grow those services, they need to grow their staff…
