FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Police Department swarmed an inn on the city’s north side Wednesday after a suicide in one of the rooms.
Officers responded around 11 a.m. to the 5700 block of Challenger Parkway on reports of a shooting. Officials at the scene confirmed someone died by suicide in their room.
At least three FWPD cars were in the parking lot, along with multiple TRAA vehicles, an ambulance and unmarked vehicles.
There is no danger to the public, the FWPD said. No further information is expected to be shared…
