ALLEN CO., Ind. (WANE) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a crash that sent four people to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries. It happened on Wednesday evening near the intersection of Dawkins and South Ryan Roads, around 9:11 p.m.
A green Dodge was traveling southbound on Ryan when the driver disregarded a stop sign, hitting a gray Saturn that was traveling east on Dawkins, according to a preliminary investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. The crash sent the Saturn into a utility pole.
Two people were in each vehicle. Three out of the four people were able to get out on their own. Medics transported them to a hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Saturn had to be removed from the car. That person was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police…
