COLUMBIA CITY – A Columbia City man was arrested for allegedly obstructing traffic.
Trevor J. Martin Biehl, 32, 5524 S. Raber Road, Columbia City, is charged with obstructing traffic with the use of a motor vehicle, a class A misdemeanor.
On March 30, officers with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of an unwanted guest at a home in Columbia City. The homeowner told officers that Biehl was parked in front of her residence and that he was not welcome.
Upon arriving, officers noted that the van Biehl drove was obstructing most of the roadway, causing motorists in the northbound lane to have to drive on the left side of the roadway. According to court documents, this traffic circumstance was exacerbated by a railroad crossing Biehl’s vehicle was near.
