FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – An Allen County councilwoman says she’s putting community concerns front and center, launching a new task force aimed at turning voices into action.
Councilwoman Lindsey Hammond launched the initiative on Wednesday, calling it the Community Engagement and Education Task Force.
Hammond says after she took office last year, she promised to better connect with people who live in Allen County, and this effort is designed to do just that. She says the goal is to bring local leaders together to find thoughtful, creative solutions to issues impacting the community…
