South Whitley Community Public Library Hosting Candidate Meet & Greet Night

SOUTH WHITLEY – Voters will soon have the chance to pick their candidate to fill a seat on the Whitley County Council as well as a candidate to serve the community as sheriff. South Whitley Community Public Library, 201 E. Front St., South Whitley, is hosting a meet-and-greet event with the candidates for these positions at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.

Whitley County Council District 4, which represents Cleveland, Richland, Washington and Jefferson townships, has three candidates running in the Republican primary to fill the seat currently held by Tom Warner. Warner decided to not run for another term. Those seeking to fill his seat are Judy Earnhart, Matt Gaff and Joe Grant.
