A local nonprofit is trying to meet those moments with something personal: custom cookies made to remind kids they are seen, celebrated, and cared for. For children in foster care, birthdays, graduations, and adoptions can mean more than a party.They can be a chance to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

“Because I feel like some foster children don’t feel like they are in the same category as other children. They feel like they’re not as much as and they are 100% equal to them, and they deserve everything that all children deserve,” explains Becky Sizemore, founder of Heart to Heart Cookies.
